Issuing Credentials
Issuance is the step where Creadefy combines your template design with each recipient’s data and generates a unique, personalised PNG credential. Generation is parallel and fast — whether you’re issuing ten credentials or ten thousand, the process is the same. Every issued credential immediately receives a permanent public verification URL and QR code.

Issuance Workflow

Open an event — Navigate to the event that contains the template and recipients you want to issue credentials for.

Select a template — Choose which template design to use. You can issue different template types to different groups within the same event.

Select recipients — Pick individual recipients, select a group, or choose all. The count displayed confirms how many credentials will be generated.

Generate — Click Issue. Creadefy processes all credentials in parallel — each recipient gets a unique PNG with their personalised field values substituted in.

Review — The credentials page shows every issued credential with its status, recipient, and a preview. Any generation errors are flagged here.
- 06
Deliver — Send bulk email notifications or download a ZIP archive. These steps are independent — you can do them now, later, or both.
Delivery Options
Generation and delivery are separate steps, giving you full control over timing. Issue credentials now, then send emails whenever you’re ready.
Bulk Email
Send personalised delivery emails to every recipient in a single action. Each email contains the credential PNG and the recipient’s unique verification link.
ZIP Download
Download a ZIP archive containing all credential PNG files plus a CSV manifest that maps each file to its recipient and verification URL.
Individual Resend
Resend the delivery email for a specific credential at any time from the credential detail page — no need to re-generate.
Plan limits: Issuance is counted against your monthly credential quota at the moment of generation. If a generation fails due to a field error, that credential does not count against your quota. See Plans & Limits for per-plan volumes.
