Credential Verification

Every credential issued on Creadefy has a permanent, public verification page that anyone can access. No sign-in, no download, no special software — just a URL or QR code scan. Verifiers instantly see whether the credential is Valid or Revoked, who issued it, and what it was issued for. Status updates are real-time: the moment you revoke a credential, its verification page reflects that change.

How Verification Works

Each issued credential carries a unique URL and QR code. When a verifier opens the link or scans the code, Creadefy looks up the credential in real time and displays its current status on a public, branded page.

Every issued credential has a permanent public URL. Verifiers see real-time status — valid or revoked — with no account required.

What a Verifier Sees

The verification page is designed to be unambiguous and trustworthy. Here is every piece of information shown:

  • Credential statusValid or Revoked — displayed prominently at the top of the page with a clear visual indicator. No ambiguity.

  • Recipient nameThe full name of the person the credential was issued to, exactly as it appears on the credential itself.

  • Issuing organizationWho issued the credential. A verified organization badge is shown if the issuer has been approved by Creadefy.

  • Achievement detailsThe credential title, event or course name, issue date, and any other public fields included in the template.

  • Credential image previewA scaled preview of the actual PNG credential, so verifiers can visually match it to any copy they have seen.

  • Credential IDA unique identifier for the credential, useful for audit trails, legal reference, and support queries.

Verification URL Format

Every credential gets a permanent public URL of the form:

https://creadefy.com/verify/<credentialId>

This URL is automatically included in the credential delivery email and embedded as a QR code in the credential PNG itself. Recipients can share it anywhere — LinkedIn, resumes, email footers — and it remains valid as long as the credential is not revoked.

Privacy: Only the fields explicitly included in your template design are shown on the verification page. Recipient email addresses are never displayed publicly.
