Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Creadefy is a credential platform. Organisations design templates, issue PNG certificates and badges, and publish verification pages. The contracting entity is HelpingGeeks, India. HelpingGeeks is the parent of Creadefy and the legal entity that bills for the Service. Contact us by email. The registered address of HelpingGeeks is a legal address only, not a staffed office.

2. Agreement

Using Creadefy means you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy. Organisation customers also agree to the DPA, which is incorporated into these Terms for Customer Data.

3. Accounts and security

Keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account, including Google or GitHub sign-in. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Credentials and verification

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of templates, recipient lists, and anything printed on a credential. Public verification pages may be opened by anyone with the link. Verification confirms that Creadefy has a matching record. It does not guarantee the underlying achievement, employment, or academic result. Do not issue fraudulent or misleading credentials.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Attempt unauthorised access to other accounts or systems.
• Upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes others’ rights.
• Abuse rate limits, scrape private data, or disrupt infrastructure.
• Use the Service to issue fraudulent or misleading credentials.

6. Billing

Paid plans are charged through Razorpay. Fees and GST are shown at checkout. Invoices are issued by HelpingGeeks. The GSTIN of HelpingGeeks is printed on each tax invoice. You agree to pay applicable fees and taxes. We may change pricing with reasonable notice for future terms. Card details are handled by Razorpay, not stored on Creadefy.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display it only to operate the Service (including public verification you enable). Feedback may be used to improve Creadefy without obligation to you.

8. Third-party services

The Service depends on vendors listed on our Subprocessor List (hosting, storage, database, email, payments, support, analytics, monitoring). Their outages or acts outside our control are not our breach except as the DPA requires for Customer Data.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

Except for fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot be limited by law, our total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable data-protection law requires another forum for that claim.

11. Changes

We may update the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be notified with reasonable notice. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using Creadefy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Customer Data is handled on termination as described in the DPA.
